Meet Our Speakers: Hieromonk Seoirse

Father Seoirse is currently the Administrator of Most Holy Trinity Parish in Chesterland, Ohio. He was born and raised in Belfast, Ireland. He moved to Canton Ohio in 2012. a Hieromonk of Holy Resurrection Monastery, a Sui Iuris Monastery in the Romanian Catholic Eparchy of St George in Canton, Ohio, he was tonsured a Rassaphore Monk in 2016. Fr. Seoirse's professional background is in working with at-risk youth. He holds a Diploma in Pastoral Leadership, a Bachelor of Social Science, a Bachelor of Divinity and a Masters in Orthodox Theology. Father Seoirse has been involved in the Catholic Worker movement and Co-Ordinates the Annual Joshua Casteel Memorial Peace Dinner which takes place during the USCCB Fall Assembly in Baltimore, Maryland. He has an interest in the early Monasticism, the early Celtic Church, the Desert Fathers and the Social Doctrine of the Church.
Side note: He is an excellent speaker and a great person to turn to for spiritual direction. He is immensely knowledgeable and is extremely compassionate. Not too bad of a casual conversationalist either!
